About me

I am a researcher at IOW, dedicated to addressing ecological challenges and advancing the conservation and sustainable management of marine ecosystems. The project (STATUS; https://www.io-warnemuende.de/project/350/status.html) that I currently work on, focuses on quantifying the carbon capture and release in coastal ecosystems, particularly bivalve (mussel) beds.
My core competencies include ecological experimental design, data processing, biostatistics, and predictive modeling. Additionally, my knowledge extends to energy budget theory, Bayesian statistics, and method development. I have also published multiple papers in peer-reviewed journals, and received awards and recognition for my doctoral thesis and research.
