Grete Boskamp

I am a PhD student in physical oceanography and am currently working on submesoscale fronts. These have a scale of 10 to 100 km and are therefore too small to be represented in global models. However, they have a major impact on the mechanisms that influence our weather and climate.
I am currently working with data from the Agulhas region, which is located at the southern tip of Africa and is crucial for the global climate.
In the further course of my PhD, I would like to work with data from the Skagarak region.
