My research focuses on improving our understanding of
- the spatial and temporal progression of late quaternary climate variations.
- archive-specific response-times and thresholds associated with
large-scale environmental changes.
My main research tool is the improvement and application of
cosmogenic radionuclides in marine and terrestrial sediment archives
as synchronization tool. I lead the 10Be extraction laboratory at the IOW.
