Programme
The aim of the first part of the symposium, session 1 and 2, is the presentation of research activities in coastal areas where knowledge is comprehensive so that these regions may be defined as key areas which are exemplary with regard to natural conditions (e.g. terrestrial discharge from agriculture, estuaries, eutrophication, pollution) and/or use (e.g. coastal engineering and protection, maritime transportation, exploitation of hydrocarbons, fisheries or aquaculture, political conflicts, maritime law). Presentations will reflect on achievements in linking research and governance of coastal zones. Both sessions will comprise oral presentations of research activities, a related poster session and a panel discussion. Day 3 is a synthesis workshop, based on session 1 and 2, in which all participants shall contribute to the discussion.
The final programme is now online (see session 1 to 3 for details). Changes, however, might occur due to unforeseen events/practicabilities.
Abstract submission for talks is closed. Abstract submission deadline for posters has been extended until 16th September 2015. Please register here to submit an abstract.
