  The ScanFish is an ROTV (remotely operated towed vehicle). It is towed by the research vessel and is operated in an undulating mode . All our ScanFishes are equipped with an integrated SeaBird SBE911plus CTD.

  The ScanFish is used together with dedicated winches ( with up to 1500m cable) on research vessels.
