In the sub-project OTC Rostock: Living Probalistic Twins (OTC-DaTA2Model)-E, the instrumentation for surveying a marine area is to be optimized. For this purpose, a digital image of the respective area is created over a corresponding period of time, derived from model data of a high-resolution model. This high spatial and temporal resolution image serves as the (assumed) "true state" of the area. Using different measurement strategies and instruments with different measurement uncertainties in virtual use, it will then be investigated which combinations and placements of the measurement instruments enable optimal reconstructions of the "true state". In addition, it will be possible to map the respective errors of the reconstruction in space and time.
