Objectives are the further-development, provision and maintenance of the geo-information system (GIS) “Baltic Sea Atlas“. All spatial data produced within SECOS will be processed and displayed in a publicly accessible geo-information system. Additionally, existing spatial IOW data and basic background information will be processed and included. The system will be organised in a way that it provides fast access to spatial data needed by authorities for the implementation of the Marine Strategy Framework Directive. Further, a public web-GIS with selected information will be provided.
