In der Redoxsprungschicht der Ostsee und des Schwarzen Meeres werden Mechanismen der Partikelbildung und des Partikeltransportes untersucht, die durch mikrobielle chemolithotrophe Stoffumsätze entstehen. In Felduntersuchungen und experimentellen Arbeiten werden Gleichgewichte von Produktion und Abbau der Partikel ermittelt und der mikrobielle Energiegewinn bestimmt. |
