current work

I'm a Post-Doc in the project SH ('Simulation der morphologischen Langzeittrends in tidalen Systemen der Westküste von Schleswig-Holstein') which is focussed on the simulation of the long-term morphological development in the Wadden Sea due to climate change. Here the tidal systems Rømø-Sylt and Meldorfer Bucht are investigated applying different scenarios (wind directions, sea level rise, morphodynamics, wave model) with the semi-empirical ASMITA model and vertically-integrated model simulations of the hydrodynamical model GETM.
